D N THEODO-SIVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, helmeted, cuirassed bust of Theodosius II facing, head slightly right, spear in right hand over shoulder, shield with horseman motif in left / CONCORDIA AVGG I, Constantinopolis enthroned facing, head right, scepter in right hand, Victory on globe in left, right foot on prow. RIC 9 (unlisted officina; Arcadius). Depeyrot 55/3.

A very rare and seldom encountered type. A similar type, in higher grade and from unlisted 7th officina, was sold by CNG in June 2014 (Electronic Auction 329, Lot 578, $1400 hammer).
